Finance and Admin Officer

Start date: ASAP

Hours / Working weeks: Full time (37 hours per week) / 39 working weeks (term time plus 1 week)

Pay Grade / Salary: Scale Point 9-12  plus Local Government Pension Scheme

We are seeking applicants to work alongside friendly, professional and supportive colleagues who bring out the best in each other. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within a small and dynamic team, who have a proactive approach to professional development.

The role may include: - finance administration, school administration and HR administration e.g. assisting the Principal, School Business Manager, staff and pupils as required, maintaining the pupil database) - office administration e.g. answering the telephone, welcoming parents and visitors, some financial administration e.g. purchasing resources.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills with a variety of people
  • Have excellent admin skills, and be a self-starter
  • Be able to work in an organised manner, with attention to detail.
  • A good team worker, but able to work on their own initiative
  • Have experience in finance admin

About Excalibur Academies Trust

Excalibur Academies Trust has grown from two schools in Marlborough, Wiltshire, to 15 schools in four local authorities, stretching from Bristol to Reading along the M4 corridor, providing high quality education to almost 4000 children from age 2 to 18.
